What's New in Plantory - March 2026
Garden exports, better task flows, simpler sharing links, and a smoother first-time experience.
The first half of March brought a set of updates focused on real everyday use: keeping safer copies of your garden, getting to tasks faster, sharing Plantory with friends, and making the first sessions feel smoother. None of these changes are flashy for the sake of it. They are the kind of improvements that make the app feel easier to trust and easier to come back to.
If you plan gardens across devices, share ideas with family, or jump in and out of tasks throughout the week, this update is for you.
Export Your Garden Anytime
Your garden plan is valuable. It holds your layout, your ideas, and often a lot of time spent refining details. Plantory now includes a dedicated export section in garden settings, so you can download your garden data whenever you want.
That means it is easier to keep your own backup, move work between tools, or simply feel more confident knowing your plan is not locked away. For many gardeners, peace of mind matters just as much as new features.
Open Tasks from the Right Place
Tasks are now easier to open from the places where they naturally appear. Whether you click from the garden dashboard, jump in from chat, or follow a reminder, Plantory does a better job of taking you straight to the task detail you need.
We also improved how task details stay in sync after you update a task. If you mark something done or change its progress, the detail view now reflects that change right away. The result is a smoother workflow with less second-guessing.
A Better First Experience
The first few minutes in any app matter. This sprint, we put more care into helping new users understand what Plantory can do from the very beginning. Onboarding now gives a clearer introduction to AI-powered help, plan selection, and the first steps inside the product.
We also fixed the path for new users joining with Google, so they arrive in the welcome flow as expected. Add in clearer privacy choices on first visit, dismissible tool hints on the planning canvas, and tidier actions on smaller screens, and the whole experience feels calmer and more intentional.
Share Plantory More Easily
Recommending Plantory should feel simple, not awkward. That is why sharing now works with a cleaner link flow. You can invite someone with a homepage link or send them straight to sign-up, depending on what makes more sense for the moment.
This small change removes friction. Instead of explaining where to click next, you can share one link that already points people in the right direction.
Bug Fixes That Remove Friction
Alongside the visible updates, we fixed several issues that could quietly get in the way. Plantory is now less likely to leave you on an outdated page after an update. Trial limits display more clearly. Plant search no longer gets stuck loading after certain AI responses. Small but annoying interruptions have been reduced so you can stay focused on the garden itself.
Spring planning season is picking up quickly. Open Plantory, export a backup of your garden, and line up your next tasks before the busy weeks arrive. The smoother your setup is now, the easier the next planting decisions become.
